| Norvell's Thugs' only appearance in Action Comics (1938) #2 |
These nondescript thugs from Action Comics (1938) #2 are only interesting in that they turn on their wealthy employer (Emil Norvell) when Emil tries to stiff them after they finish a job for him.
(That job entails getting Superman off Emil's back during the ocean voyage to San Monte, which they accomplish by knocking Superman off the ship -- though they do fall short of actually killing Superman.)
It seems there truly is no honor among thieves.
